Christine Allison is the president of D Magazine Partners and founded D Home in 2000. An emigre from New York, she is still trying to figure out how to garden in Dallas and is completely flummoxed by July and August. She is the author of 365 Days of Gardening, Harper Collins.
Executive editor Laura Kostelny is not the best photographer—something you are sure to notice right away. On her way to becoming the next Annie Leibovitz (complete with the financial woes!), she spends time browsing home decor shops, talking about deep (and not so deep) things on the patio of the Old Monk, and watching the worst reality programs you can name.
Art director Jamie Laubhan-Oliver happily directs the show at all times and in all places. When she's not telling all of us what to do, she's hitting estate sales, dealing with her Etsy customers, planning weddings, working on her memoirs, giving advice on everything, and being worshipped by her husband, Larry.
Peggy Levinson has lived and worked in the Dallas design world for the last 30 years, owning showrooms, consulting with designers, and bringing some of the top fabric and furniture lines to Dallas. After leaving the showroom business, she found a wonderful home reporting on home style and design, sometimes creating trends rather than just reporting them.
Rhonda Reinhart is the managing editor of D Home and D Weddings. She likes many things. Among them are mariachi bands, American Idol (but only on performance night), anything miniature, gin drinks (preferably not miniature), the color purple, the Best Week Ever blog, the Rico salad with shrimp at Mi Cocina (ask for it — it's not on the menu), live music, and Shimmy Dance Boot Camp. She looks forward to referencing these subjects on the blog as often as possible.
Style editor Joslyn Taylor possesses a serious design obsession (trust us, it’s serious — she once followed Kelley Wearstler into the ladies restroom at Craft so she could strike up a conversation), but given her line of work, it's to be expected. (At least that's what she's going with.) When she’s not stalking her design idols or fixating on Cherner chairs and Moroccan Berber rugs, she's probably forcing her two young daughters to go with her to the museum. Again.
