Do you like to be judged? Of course you do! That’s why the good people of D Home have joined forces with the fine people at Texas Paint & Wallpaper to create the Life in Color contest. Tell me more, you say. Well, it’s a competition for designers involving color. (Hence the name.) Here’s how it works: You are a Dallas-based designer. You (and your team of no more than three people) have created a gorgeous and colorful room (in the last five years) that fits into one of our five categories. You submit your room where it will be admired by a panel of judges that includes Todd Fiscus, Cindy Rachofsky, John Runyon, Jan Strimple, and yours truly. And then we award prizes to the top five winners. You heard me: Prizes! You could win inclusion in a four-page feature in the July/August issue, a Texas Paint membership card with access to Platinum Level discounts, selection of Texas Paint’s color palette and inclusion of the winners’ names, and a celebratory dinner with the party people of Texas Paint, Benjamin Moore, and D Home. Want to know more? Go to dmagazine/lifeincolor. But do it fast. The submission period ends April 30.
