After five days of cooking and kiddos running wild and, well, just general mayhem (ahh the long holiday weekend), my house could use a serious dose of elegance. I’m thinking some nicely fluffed pillows, a vase or two of fresh flowers, a clutter-free coffee table (although I’d settle for just the clutter-free coffee table).
Lucky for me, the master of elegance, leading New York interior designer Alex Papachristidis is signing his new tome, The Age of Elegance: Interiors by Alex Papachristidis at Nest tomorrow from 6-8 p.m.
The book, a collection of Papachristidis’s designs for homes across the world (plus a peek inside his own abode), pays homage to the designer’s refined sensibility. Featured projects range from grand New York apartments to beach houses in the Hamptons, all sporting a glamorous yet easy elegance.
I’m hoping some of that “glamorous yet easy elegance” action rubs off on me tomorrow.
See you there!
