Our lovely new intern editorial Caitlin Adams (we clearly have a thing for smart girls named Caitlin around here) is joining us to cover all things design here on the blog. In her first dispatch, she gives us the scoop on some Dallas love on HGTV’s Real Estate Intervention. Enjoy!

Our city got some love this past Monday when Julie Provenzano (right), Preston Hollow resident and real estate agent of Dave Perry-Miller & Associates, was the featured real estate expert on the HGTV show Real Estate Intervention. The network’s show stars co-hosts Mike Aubrey and Sabrina Soto as they help eager homeowners sell their homes.
In this episode, Provenzano came to the rescue of Roy and Michelle Barrera, homeowners in Mesquite, TX who have been trying to sell their pad for three years. Potential buyers have shied away from the house because of a dining-room-turned-fifth- bedroom fiasco, an unappealing master bedroom, and a general lack of light. Provenzano stepped in and leant her expertise to the couple, helping the design team enhance the homes’ selling features and showing the sellers what they were up against in Texas’ competitive housing market.
Provenzano was previously featured as the show’s real estate expert on Sept. 10th. Tune in Mondays at 9:30 a.m. central to catch the newest episodes of Real Estate Intervention.
