With the school year in full swing, the lazy days of summer are officially over (despite the fact that it’s still blazing hot outside…I know, I know, I need to get over it). No more impromptu getaways, no more weekend jaunts, we are officially Dallas-bound.
This inability to roam freely, of course, just serves to stoke a major case of wanderlust. I want to take a trip in the worst way, preferably an epic one involving multiple modes of travel and the need to carefully sidestep food-borne illnesses. But truancy is heavily frowned upon, so I’ll have to settle for some “virtual” adventure via the slew of travel themed tomes spotted at Blueprint recently.
I’ll take that Condé Nast Traveler Photographs: 25th Anniversary Collection pictured above please. I’d also like copies of Island Hotel Stories, oh and Escape Hotel Stories too, if it’s not too much trouble.
And while we’re constructing a wish list, I’ll take those silver chairs too. Just sayin’.
