Soyons Cruels (Let us be Cruel) by Pascual Sisto

Delight by Brigitte Kowanz

I am seriously jonesin’ for a piece of neon script wall art à la the Brigitte Kowanz and Pascual Sisto works above…

Never mind the potential havoc a neon light wall sculpture could wreak on my already insane electricity bill. (Does anyone happen to know the electricity bill implications of one of these bad boys?) Oh and just ignore the fact that I have no clue what I’d want the piece to read. I’m having a Friday afternoon Veruca Salt moment… I want one. Now.

I’m thinking the guys at Dallas Neon might be the answer.

  1. I recall how cool and expensive these were like 20years ago. Interesting they may be coming back in style?

  2. Neon uses less current than incandescent bulbs, so you’re fine unless you’re running a ridiculous transformer or you’re bombarding tubes.
