I was out and about visiting some new shops for our upcoming March/April issue and couldn’t resist snapping a few shots of what I think of as a decorating game-changer: the lucite or glass* block.
Perch anything (i.e. that little rock found on your summer trip to Maine, the ceramic owl figurine scored at Round Top) atop one of these squares of goodness and it becomes an instant objet d’art.
Go ahead, try it. I’ll wait.
*I get my glass blocks at the Wisteria Outlet, but I’m having a hard time finding lucite ones for a (somewhat) reasonable price. If you have a source you’d like to share, I’m all ears!
