State Fair's House of Tomorrow

When you’re at the State Fair this weekend, and you’ve had enough corny dogs, and have sampled fried jalapeno buttermilk spinach ice cream and you can’t even button your jeans, you might want to check out the remodeled House of Tomorrow designed by Dallas Renovation Group. Look for practical applications of cutting edge design and remodeling trends that are not even fried. Remember in the olden days and the first House of Tomorrow was featured with colored appliances! and pop up toasters! all with a pretty little momma with a dress and pearls? This promises a perfect palate cleanser showing an interaction between nature and technology, but no toasters—maybe a green robot?

  2. Shouting out to the interior designer who designed that fabulous kitchen above…Denise McGaha Interiors (http://www.denisemcgaha.com/). The scale of the fabulous chevron-patterned floor is truly cool and the risk she took on the sunny appliances make this a new favorite design direction.
